[UPDATED with slideshow at bottom of page]
Black March will take place March 1-31, 2012. This is our call to action to let Hollywood, the RIAA and other special interests know we won’t tolerate the corrupt practice of “buying” legislation that is self-serving and not in the best interests of the general public. Legislation that could end the internet as we know it.
Black March isn’t just about boycotting the main copyright industries, it’s an opportunity to support local and/or independent film makers, unsigned musicians, and local/independent/self-published authors. It’s a time to look for and support works of all sorts created under Creative Commons and Copyleft.
Be sure to follow the Black March Google+ page for up-to-date information.
